This past weekend was Rd. 1 of the RC Pro Texas State series which was held at Mike's/Gulfcoast raceway where the 2012 ROAR Off road Nationals will be held in June. We had 250+ entries for the one day race. I was able to take TQ honors in the last round over Jake Dellinger and David Joor of AE. In the main my car was very good and fast enough to pull away from the field. A couple of bad laps allowed Jake Dellinger to close and lead for a few laps but I was able to clean it up, regain the lead and never look back for the win for Rd. 1.
